Translation from Kazakh and into Kazakh

We translate Kazakhstani documents into Russian for Belarusian authorities, and Belarusian documents into Kazakh. If a document is bilingual, we first check what actually needs translating.

  • From 68 BYN per 1,800 characters
  • We start from a photo
  • Usually 2–3 working days

Documents

Kazakhstani documents we translate

We translate documents from Kazakhstan for use in Belarus, and Belarusian documents for Kazakhstan. These are the typical tasks people bring to us.

  • Moving to Belarus and residence permits

Birth and marriage certificates, criminal record certificates, change-of-name documents.

  • Education

School-leaving certificates, diplomas and transcripts for a Belarusian university. Belarusian diplomas for study or work in Kazakhstan.

  • Inheritance and property

Death certificates, official certificates and powers of attorney — for a Belarusian notary or a transaction in Kazakhstan.

  • Business

Contracts, company documents, register extracts and powers of attorney for working with partners in Kazakhstan.

Bilingual documents

Does it need translating if it has Russian text?

That is up to the authority you are submitting it to. Many Kazakhstani documents are issued in two languages, Kazakh and Russian, and requirements for them vary.

Send us a photo and we will check what appears only in Kazakh: seals, stamps, notes. Then we will tell you how much work is involved and what it costs.

We translate from Kazakh into Russian or Belarusian, and from Russian into Kazakh.

Certification

Notary or apostille for a Kazakhstani document

For Belarus, a notarised translation is usually enough. For Kazakhstan, the Minsk Convention decides a lot.

  • For Belarus

A notarised translation into Russian or Belarusian. When a Belarusian notary certifies the translator’s signature on a foreign document, the law on notaries does not require an apostille on that document. More about notarised translation

  • For Kazakhstan

Under Article 13 of the 1993 Minsk Convention, documents bearing an official seal with the state emblem of a member state are accepted without an apostille or legalisation. If the Convention does not apply, you will need an apostille or legalisation. Check the requirements with the authority you are submitting to; if you are not sure, get in touch. Names

How we spell Kazakh names and surnames

As they appear in the holder’s passport, in Cyrillic and Latin script. If the passport has been replaced, send a photo of the current one.

Kazakh Cyrillic has letters that Russian does not: ә, ғ, қ, ң, ө, ұ, ү, һ, і. Kazakhstan has announced a switch to the Latin alphabet. As a result, the same surname may be spelt differently in documents from different years.

We check the spelling against the passport before we translate. That way, your name reads the same in your certificate, diploma and power of attorney.

Uzbek, Tajik and Turkmen

We also translate documents from neighbouring Central Asian countries. Prices and terms are on separate pages.

How to order

How to order a Kazakh translation

Three steps, and the first one is a photo of the document.

  1. 1

    Send a photo

Every page, plus the back if it has stamps on it. Tell us which authority the translation is for.

  2. 2

    Get a scan

We translate and proofread, then send you a scan to check.

  3. 3

    Collect your translation

After notarisation, collect it at the office Mon–Fri 9:00–18:00 or receive it by post. Notarisation requires the original.
