Documents

Medical records and tests we translate

Discharge summaries, doctors’ reports, test results, certificates and clinic invoices. The recipient — a clinic, insurer, consulate or employer — decides the language and the type of certification.

  • Discharge summaries and case extracts

Extracts from hospital and outpatient records — for a consultation or continued treatment in another country.

  • Reports and test results

Doctors’ reports, ultrasound, MRI and CT reports, lab test results.

  • Medical certificates

Medical certificates for study, work or a visa.

  • Documents from abroad

Discharge summaries and invoices from clinics in Poland, Lithuania and other countries — translated into Russian for Belarusian doctors and institutions.

  • For your insurer

Treatment and expense documents you need to submit to an insurance company.

  • Patient files and large packages

Medical records running to dozens of pages are priced by character count, not by page.

How we translate

How we handle dosages, dates and names

We carry over dosages, units, dates and reference numbers exactly as in the original. In a medical text one wrong digit changes the meaning, so an editor proofreads every finished translation.

We spell the patient’s name as in their passport, in Cyrillic and Latin script. If the surname is spelt differently in the records, tell us before we start. That way the clinic abroad won’t see two different people in your documents.

Before certification, we send you a scan or photo of the translation. Check the surname, dates and numbers — only then does the translation go to the notary or to you.

Certification

Certifying a discharge summary for a clinic

It depends on who accepts the document. Ask the clinic or institution what form the translation should take, or message us and we’ll tell you what to check.

  • No certification

Often enough for a consultation with a doctor or clinic: what matters is an accurate text, not a stamp.

  • Notarised translation

For Belarusian institutions and many CIS countries. Our translators are listed in the Belarusian notaries’ register of translators. Notarisation requires the original. Notarised translation in Grodno

  • Sworn translation

Institutions in Poland and other European countries usually require a sworn translation. A photo is enough; turnaround is 5–7 working days. Sworn translation in Grodno

Useful answers

Frequently asked questions

What to know before sending your documents.

How much does it cost to translate a hospital discharge summary?

It depends on the language and volume. For English and German, from 45 BYN per 1,800 characters. We’ll give you an exact price from a photo.

How long does translation take?

Usually 2–3 working days, and the same with notarisation. Urgent: by the end of the day (+50%) or within two hours (+100%), if the volume allows.

Do you translate patient files?

Yes. Outpatient files and case histories running to many pages are priced by character count. We’ll quote a price from a photo.

Do you need the original?

For an uncertified or sworn translation, a photo is enough. Notarisation requires the original: bring it to our office on Gorkogo Street or send it by post.

Does a translation for a clinic abroad need to be certified?

Not always. Many clinics accept an uncertified translation for a consultation. Check the requirements with the clinic you’re sending the documents to.

Can I order without visiting the office?

Yes. Send photos via messenger, get the translation there to check, and receive the finished documents by post.

How do you spell the patient’s surname?

As in the passport, in Cyrillic and Latin script. If it’s spelt differently in the medical documents, let us know in advance.
